2025/2026 BUDGET INFORMATION

School Budget Vote & Trustee Elections
Tuesday, May 20, 2025 - 7:00am to 9:00pm
In-Person - High School Gymnasium


Board Member Terms of Office

 

Three (3) terms of office of the Dobbs Ferry Board of Education will be expiring on June 30, 2025.

 

Forms for petitions to run for a seat on the Board of Education will be available February 24, 2025 in the District Office.  Petitions to run as a candidate for the School Board next year must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Monday, April 21, 2025. Twenty-five signatures of registered voters in the district are required.

 

Personal Voter Registration

 

Any community resident not registered with the Westchester County Board of Elections may do so during Personal Registration which will take place on Monday, May 12, 2025 between 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM in the HS Gymnasium Foyer.  Voter Qualifications: (1) Must be a citizen of the United States; (2) Must be 18 years of age or older; (3) Must have been a resident of the school district for a period of 30 days or more prior to May 20, 2025. Voting by Mail: Absentee and Early Mail ballots

 

To vote by mail, you must first submit an Application for an Absentee or Early Mail ballot. Applications may be downloaded from the website at the links below, or they may be requested by emailing the District Clerk at districtclerk@dfsd.org or in writing to the District Clerk at 505 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522. Applications for Absentee or Early Mail Ballots may be submitted on or after April 21, 2025. The Application must be printed, signed in ink by the voter, and returned either in person or by mail to the Office of the District Clerk. Application must be received by 2:00 pm on May 13, 2025 if the ballot will be mailed to the voter, or by 4:00 pm on Monday, May 19, 2025 if the ballot will be picked up in person by the voter or his/her designee.

  • Absentee and Early Mail ballots must be received in person or U.S. Mail at the District Office, 505 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522 no later than 5:00 PM on May 20, 2025.
