Welcome to the Dobbs Ferry UFSD Pre-K Registration Page

We are excited to begin Pre-K registration for the 2026-2027 school year! Before submitting your application for the lottery drawing, please read the following information carefully to ensure you meet all residency and age requirements.

Important Note: No post-drawing exceptions will be made to registration deadlines. Please ensure your application is submitted prior to the lottery date.

 

Attendance Requirement for Pre-K

Consistent attendance is vital for your child’s development. Regular and punctual attendance is required for all students enrolled in the program. If a student is chronically absent without a medical or reasonable explanation, or frequently arrives late or departs early, they may be subject to removal from the program to make space for students on the waiting list.

Required Documents

Please use the time before the lottery to gather the necessary documentation. If your child is offered a seat, the spot will not be secured until the full district registration process is complete.

The following documents are required for registration:

  • Original Birth Certificate or Passport.

New York State Requirements:

  • Immunization Records: Valid proof of immunization signed by a physician.

  • Proof of Physical Exam: A record of a physical examination conducted within the last 12 months.

  • Proof of Residency: You must provide documentation establishing residency within the Dobbs Ferry UFSD boundaries. This typically includes:

    • A copy of a lease, deed, or mortgage statement.

    • Two additional proofs (e.g., utility bills, driver’s license, or payroll stubs) dated within the last 30 days.

  • Photo ID of Parent/Guardian: A valid driver’s license or passport.

UPK: A big congratulations to the families who secured one of the 18 Pre-K spots in the DFSD! To keep siblings together, families with multiple children participated in the drawing under a single lottery number. We can’t wait to welcome our newest little Eagles.
