Dobbs Ferry High School’s Spring Musical “Urinetown” Spoofs Social and Political Issues with Wit and Humor
 
Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. March 19, 2018- Dobbs Ferry High School’s Musical Theater Department presents the hit show Urinetown on Friday, March 23rd at 7:00 pm and Saturday, March 24th at 7:00 pm in the High School auditorium. This satirical musical comedy, which premiered on Broadway in 2001, parodies our “legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, bureaucracy, corporate mismanagement, municipal politics and even musical theater.”  No one is safe from scrutiny, and many of these themes will resonate with theatergoers in 2018.   Read complete News Release...
