The Public Information Office serves as the liaison between the District and the public providing information, news and events related to the Dobbs Ferry Schools. The Public Information Officer is responsible for overall District communications, media relations, school/community outreach and managing social media to enhance communications and relationships between the Dobbs Ferry School District and its key stakeholders; the students, families and community the Office serves.
The District’s Public Information Office has been recognized for “Outstanding Achievement in Educational Communications” in the annual New York School Public Relations Association (NYSPRA) Communications Awards competition. The District has received awards of Excellence,Honor and Merit in the following categories:
