Mrs. Denise Briscoe
Hi! I am a physical education teacher at Springhurst Elementary School. I graduated from SUNY Cortland in 1985 and have been teaching physical education since. I started teaching and coaching in the Dobbs Ferry School District in 1989. While at DF, I’ve taught in all three schools, the DFMS, DFHS, and at Springhurst Elementary School. Throughout the years, I have coached volleyball, basketball, softball and track.
My main hobby is TENNIS! So, I am thrilled about our 4 new tennis courts at Springhurst that will be ready this Fall!!! Our PE staff has gone to tennis workshops held by the USTA and learned about 10 and Under Tennis! We can not wait to start tennis is our PE classes!
