¡Hola! I have been working at Springhurst Elementary School since 2012. Prior to Springhurst, I was a Middle School Spanish teacher in The Bronx for four years.

I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Universidad Católica Santo Domingo in my home country, the Dominican Republic. There, I was able to work as a journalist for almost five years reporting for different media outlets before moving to the USA. I earned a Master Degree in Art of Teaching from Manhattanville College, and since then I have been teaching kids one my dearest passions: Spanish.

When I am not in the classroom, I am spending time with my family, playing tennis or traveling.
