Hello! My name is Cristina Moccia, and I have been a teacher at Springhurst for five years! I have been an AIS teacher here for the last three years. This is my 10th year of teaching, and my experience as a classroom teacher includes grades K, 1st, and 4th grade.

I have two children who I adore! We spend most of our time traveling back and forth to sports and dance events. We somehow find the time to visit new and exciting places too.

My true passion in education lies in working with students in small groups and focusing on understanding your child as a learner. As your child's AIS teacher, my role is to foster a love for learning and an "I can do it!" attitude! With that, I hope that we can develop a partnership of ongoing communication to continue that work once your child leaves my classroom. Let's help your child together!
