Hi! My name is Emily Mandel and I am the Primary Special Class Teacher at Springhurst! I previously taught 3rd grade special education in the Bronx and worked as a Teaching Assistant in a life skills classroom in Westchester. I completed my undergraduate studies at SUNY Geneeseo where I received my degree in Childhood and Special Education Grades 1-6. Following that, I received my Masters Degree at Columbia University, Teachers College in Severe and Multiple Disabilities. I look forward to a great year at Springhurst!
