Hi! My name is Karen Ryan and I am a second grade teacher at Springhurst.  I began teaching in Dobbs Ferry in 1994. Prior to that, I taught fourth grade in NYC for one year.  

I was born and raised in Rockland County, and I currently reside there with my husband and children.  I attended SUNY Oneonta where I majored in Elementary Education and minored in Educational Psychology. I received my Master’s degree in Reading K-12 from Long Island University.
